Sun — Fine Art

Sun - 1943 by Arthur Dove sets a round yellow form against a muted background. The outer ring fades from orange to grey. Smaller circles and short lines cluster near the centre. From across the room the shapes read as a sun with a soft glow. Up close the small strokes and paper grain become clear, and the centre feels busy.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte finish keeps the pale yellow tones from shining under a lamp.

In a dining room, the round shape reads well from the table. When you stand at the sideboard you see the yellow ring first, then the small marks near the middle.
