Tablet #91 — Fine Art

Tablet #91 by Ellsworth Kelly shows a solid field of one tone set on a plain ground. The shape reads as a single flat mark rather than a drawn object. You notice the hard edge where the colour stops against the backing. From across the room the shape holds its own space.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy.

It works on a plain wall in a quiet room, placed at eye level where you stand back from the desk. From there the single tone reads as one shape, and the hard edge keeps its line against the wall.
