About this work
Temple Gardens 1920 shows a planned garden drawn in thin lines and small colour patches. Paul Klee worked in this way, laying marks over a quiet field and letting each shape hold its own space. The picture keeps a flat plane with a few bright notes set apart.
The fine art frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black and gives the image a steady edge on the wall. A white frame keeps the coloured patches readable, while a dark wood frame settles the whole picture into a room.
It sits well on a hallway wall where the passing light catches the small marks. From the stair landing you see the broad colour patches first, then the drawn lines up close. The picture stays calm there and reads as a measured garden study on a steady surface.
