About this work
The Beach at Pourville shows a shore where the sea meets pale sand. Waves roll in with short strokes of blue and white, and the sky stays open above. Claude Monet painted this scene with quick marks that leave space for the air.
We make this as a fine art print on paper with a matte finish. The flat surface holds the soft blues without shine, so the sea does not glare under a lamp. A light frame can sit on a darker wall, or a dark frame on a pale one.
Hang it in a hallway where you pass each day. At the end of the corridor the open sky above the water draws your eye first, and the short marks in the water come into view as you stop.
