The Blank Page 1967 by Rene Magritte

The Blank Page 1967 shows a sheet of paper standing on its own, painted in a plain field with a quiet edge.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The subject asks what a page holds when nothing is written on it.

You see a flat rectangle with a small shadow along one side, set against a smooth painted ground. The work uses the simple shapes that appear in much of Rene Magritte practice, where ordinary objects sit in clear space.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
