The Bottle of Notes 1993

The Bottle of Notes 1993 by Claes Oldenburg shows a bottle shape resting on a flat field of notes. The lines are smooth and the edges are clean. The picture reads as a simple object placed against a plain background.

The fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel. The paper is matte, so the flat tones stay even and there is no shine under a lamp. The print arrives assembled when the ready to hang option is used.

In a dining room, the bottle shape holds the eye above the table. From the doorway you see the clean outline against the wall. The notes spread out below it in a steady row.
