The Column 1926

The Column 1926 turns a vertical form into a measured drawing with a few hard edges and a quiet field behind it. Paul Klee often built these forms from thin strokes and small patches of paint. The work feels like a study of one upright shape, set plainly on the sheet.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The print comes ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need to buy a separate frame.

In a hallway with a narrow coat cabinet on one side, the tall shape reads clearly from the next room. You notice the drawn edges first, then the small changes in tone as you pass by.
