The First Step

A pale band of colour runs from one side to the other in The First Step. Frantisek Kupka sets thin tones against a quiet field so each mark stays separate. The picture keeps the whole view calm and free of noise.

This fine art print comes set in a frame with a back panel behind the image. The matte surface holds the soft colours without shine under indoor light. The frame sits flat against the wall with a firm back panel.

It reads well on a dark wall in a dining room. From the doorway you notice the pale band first, and the thin marks stay clear from across the table. The quiet rhythm holds the room together.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.

For your country, this piece is estimated at 5 to 8 business days from the moment you order, including production, with free tracked delivery. Every piece is made to order by the print partner closest to you; framed pieces take a little longer because each one is framed and checked before dispatch. These are estimates, and there is no express option. Full country-by-country ranges are on our estimated delivery times page, and you can see exactly how your piece is packed.

If your piece arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and keep all packaging. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. See our refund policy for the full process.
