About this work
The Gardens of Generalife in Grenada 1913 shows a view of terraced grounds beside water, painted with small dots and short strokes. Theo van Rysselberghe worked in a neo impressionist style and built these passages with pointillist dots. The landscape holds cooler greens and pale stone tones, with the garden paths turning across the scene.
This fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel, so the image stays flat and the edges stay clean. The matte paper keeps the greens soft and the small dots stay readable under indoor light. When you use the ready to hang option it arrives assembled.
Hang it in a study over the desk. From the chair you read the garden lines and the water passage, and the cool tones settle the room without pulling attention.
