The Grand Canyon — Fine Art

Layers of red and brown rock drop down into shadow across this Grand Canyon scene.

You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. Thomas Moran painted the cliff faces with strong colour and broad strokes, leaving open sky above. The picture places most of the weight low in the frame, with the top half kept empty.

You see the canyon walls first, then the pale space above them. Even the narrow bands of stone feel solid against the open air.
