The Green Pitcher — Fine Art

A green pitcher stands on a plain surface with a few simple objects nearby. The shapes sit close together and the paint breaks into small patches of colour. You see the basic round form of the vessel and the cool tones around it.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood and black and the edge it gives the picture sets the pitcher apart from the wall. A white finish lets the green tones read without contrast. A dark wood frame puts a firm line around the painted surface.

In a hallway with a narrow wall, the pitcher and the nearby shapes hold the eye at the end of the day. From the stair landing you read the green tones first, then the small painted patches as you pass by.
