The Large Pine 1926

The Large Pine 1926 by Henri Matisse turns a single tree into a few long marks. The trunk rises with a firm black line, and the branches reach out with a quick stroke. The pine sits on a plain ground with wide open space around it.

You get a fine art print set in a frame, with a back panel behind the paper. The frame sits close to the edge, so the black line of the pine reads from across the room.
