The North by Arkhyp Kuindzhi — Fine Art

The North opens on a wide sky over a quiet horizon. Cool blues and pale whites sit in broad bands across the sheet, with a darker ridge of land holding the weight near the lower edge. Empty space holds the view open.

This fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel. The matte paper keeps the cool blues from shining under a lamp, so the bands of sky stay flat and even where the land meets the water.

Hang it above a dresser in a bedroom. From the foot of the bed you see the broad sky first, and the darker land catches the eye as you stand near the wall.
