The Rose IV

The Rose IV by Cy Twombly shows a handwritten line drawn across a light page. A single sweeping stroke bends through the sheet and leaves a soft ridge where the brush pressed hard. The line runs without a break and slows near the end.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang with a metal hanger fixed to the back. It goes straight onto a nail or screw and needs no separate frame. The matte paper keeps the line soft and stops shine under a lamp. The surface reads as paper rather than coated stock.

It sits well above a long sofa where the line runs across the field at eye level. From the doorway the single stroke is easy to follow. Up close you notice the small changes in pressure along the path.

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
