The Steps at Vetheuil

The Steps at Vetheuil shows a path climbing through a house garden, with stone steps and a fence line drawn in loose strokes. Claude Monet worked on this view outdoors, where the light changes the colour of the stone. The whole scene reads as a quick study of a garden entrance, not a finished room.

A fine art print set in a frame with a back panel keeps the painted marks clear and the colours even. The back panel helps the print stay flat on the wall.
