The Steps — Fine Art

The Steps shows a set of stone steps climbing upward, drawn in broad strokes of green and grey. The shapes lean to the right and the ground below holds a few dark plants. Claude Monet worked outdoors to catch the air around the stone.

This fine art print comes with a white frame, a wood frame, a dark wood frame or a black frame. The frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. The white frame keeps the grey steps plain and lets the green marks stay soft.

It works on a stairwell landing where the steps of the print meet the steps of the house. You notice the grey stone first, then the green strokes from the side. The mark and the place read together.
