The Sunblind 1914 — Fine Art

The Sunblind 1914 by Juan Gris turns a sunblind into a mix of clear planes and thin lines. From the hall doorway the shapes stay broad and the colours sit flat. Up close the drawn edges and small shifts in tone become easier to see.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the greys and yellows soft and stops the paper from shining under a lamp.

It suits a study wall near a desk, where the sunblind image meets the daylight from a side window. From the chair you notice the grouped planes first, then the drawn outlines on the edges. The scene stays calm and easy to read while you work.
