The tree — Fine Art

The tree shows a branch-like form rising from a plain field. Warm brown marks sit next to cool grey shapes, so the warm parts feel closer against the quieter tones.

Frantisek Kupka draws with clear direction rather than busy detail. The fine art print runs through the four finishes of white, wood, dark wood and black.

A black frame edge brings a hard line to the brown forms, while white keeps the grey shapes open. Hang it on the bedroom wall opposite the bed, where you notice the branch shape from the doorway and the straight frame edge at night.
