The Valley of the Nervia

The Valley of the Nervia turns a wide river valley into soft bands of green and grey that sit across the picture. Brushstrokes stay loose and uneven, so the ground and water read as one moving surface. From a doorway the shapes stay broad and calm, while a closer look shows the broken paint marks.
