Two Candy Sticks

Two candy sticks stand side by side in a simple still life, painted with thick blocks of pigment that sit on the surface. Wayne Thiebaud built the forms with visible strokes and clean edges. The sweets are shown as two long sticks, one beside the other.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The matte finish keeps the painted candy tones even and stops a bright shine on the image.

It fits a quiet dining room wall near the table. From the doorway you see the two sticks clearly, and closer by you notice the paint laid on in flat sections.
