Undergrowth — Fine Art

Undergrowth shows a low path moving through a stand of trees. Dense green and brown strokes cover the ground near the roots while a thin strip of sky stays open at the top. The eye enters along the path and rests in the dark lower half.

Empty space on the right keeps the scene from feeling crowded. The fine art print sits inside a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the greens flat and stops a lamp from throwing a shine across the leaves.

You notice the brush marks best when you stand close to the wall. A narrow hallway on the second floor works well for this picture. The doorway gives a full view of the tree line and the path leads your eye straight down the corridor.
