About this work

Unsteady World

A steady shape breaks apart across the sheet in Unsteady World, and the eye follows the split from one side to the other.

The divided field sits heavy in the lower half, with a wide open band above it. Hiroshi Nagai works with thin washes over bare paper, and the marks here look like strokes pulled across a wet ground.

The fine art print sits in a frame with a back panel, and the matte surface keeps the grey tones soft without shine. It fits on a narrow wall in a study, where a lamp on the desk throws a warm angle across the lower shape while the upper band stays quiet.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.
Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
