Untitled 12-R — Fine Art

The piece Untitled 12-R - 1982 by Donald Judd sets a plain background with a single painted shape. The colour block holds a steady hue across the sheet. You read it as a flat form placed on a quiet field.

The product is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The fine art print sits inside a wooden frame. You hang it as a ready to hang object when the option is used. The paper keeps the colour block even and the surface stays matte.

You place it on a long wall in a study room. From the desk you notice the single shape first, then the plain ground takes over. The wall stays clear beside it and the room reads quieter.
