About this work
Untitled - 1961 by Henri Michaux shows letter shapes drawn with ink on a white sheet. The marks run in a loose row, some taller than the others. You see the drawing from across the room as a row of soft forms, then up close the handwriting comes into view.
You get the fine art print with a hanger already on the back. The print sits on matte paper, so the grey ink stays soft and there is no shine under a lamp.
It reads well on a wall in a study corner above a desk. From the doorway you notice the row of letter shapes, and when you stand by the desk the small ink traces become clear.
