Untitled - 1962 by Ray Parker sets up a simple field of colour with hard edges. The painted shapes sit close together, and the gaps between them carry most of the interest. A flat light ground keeps each block readable.

A fine art print keeps the painted look on paper. The frame finish can follow the room, so a light frame sits well on a dark wall and a dark frame works on a pale one.
