Untitled

Untitled - 1974 by Dieter Roth is a plain field with colour laid across it in an uneven way. The work belongs to the body of print and painting practice where material and surface are explored together. You see a ground that does not stay the same from edge to edge.

This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need a separate frame to buy. The hanger lets you put the print on the wall in one step.

It works on the stairwell wall where the steps meet the landing. From the bottom you notice the even tone across the sheet and the small changes in the surface. The print stays clear without pulling focus from the steps.
