Untitled — Fine Art

Untitled - 1976 by Larry Zox opens on a hard edge layout built from solid colour blocks. The eye enters on the bright plane and rests on the stacked rectangles.

Empty space sits between the forms. A fine art print holds the layout on a matte sheet.

The frame finish can follow the room, a light frame on a dark wall or a dark frame on a pale wall. It works on a corridor wall beside a switch plate. You see the sharp colour lines from the steps and the quiet gaps between them.
