Untitled 2006 — Fine Art

Untitled 2006 by Louise Bourgeois shows a loose mark running across the sheet. The eye follows a single dark line, then rests on the open ground beside it. The weight sits low, leaving the rest of the page quiet.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. The white frame gives this picture a clean edge on the wall. It holds the open ground without crowding the drawn line. You see the frame as a straight border that keeps the image contained.

It sits on a hallway wall near the stairs, where light hits the paper from the side. From the landing you see the dark line, and the rest of the sheet stays open.
