Untitled #6

A few large shapes hold the paper on Untitled #6. The painted marks run in clear bands with hard edges between them. Al Held works in hard edge painting and lays colour in even layers across the sheet. You can see where each shape ends and the next one begins.

The fine art frame finish can follow the room. A light frame on a dark wall, a dark frame on a pale wall, or a wood frame beside wooden furniture.

Hang it on a wall above a sofa where the painted bands read from across the room. Stand a few steps back and the hard edge shapes stay clear. Step closer and the edges between the shapes stay sharp without blending.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.

As a guide: 40×50 cm suits a desk or small wall, 50×70 cm sits well above a sofa or bed, and 70×100 cm anchors a room as a focal piece. If you'd like advice for your space, send us your dimensions and we'll recommend a size.
