Untitled Dark Blue-Green — Fine Art

Untitled Dark Blue-Green shows a dark blue-green wash spread over a white field. The paint sits in loose pools with open gaps between them.

Sam Francis lets the dark tone breathe against the light ground. The brush moves fast and leaves soft edges where the colour thins out. A fine art print keeps these open washes clear on a matte surface.

The frame finish can follow the room: a light frame on a dark wall, a dark frame on a pale wall, or a wood frame beside wooden furniture. It fits a hallway wall where the light is steady. From the front door you see the dark areas first, then the white space around them.
