This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The matte surface keeps the tones even, so the open colour washes read softly without shine under a lamp.

In a dining room on a side wall, the broad colour areas sit between shelves. From the table you notice the thin gaps between the paint first. Step closer and the open washes show as separate blocks of colour on the white ground.
