Untitled Panthers 1987 — Fine Art

The sheet carries the title Untitled Panthers 1987 and holds a slow arrangement of shapes on a pale ground. Alighiero Boetti often worked with pairs and repeated signs in his wider practice. This fine art print keeps that quiet numbering and the plain field he favoured.

A white frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. The clean line of the frame sits against the pale surface so the shapes do not drift at the border. You see the white edge first, then the marks inside.

It fits a bedroom wall near the bed. From the doorway the pale field reads as one steady block, and the darker shapes hold their own space without crowding the room.
