Untitled Purple and Red — Fine Art

Untitled Purple and Red shows wide strokes of purple and red across a pale ground. The paint sits in broad sweeps with edges that stay loose and open. Luis Feito worked in a gestural abstract style, laying colour over a flat field.

A fine art print is set in a frame with a back panel, and the ready to hang option means it arrives assembled. On this image the frame keeps the wide paint strokes clear from a doorway and the back panel gives the piece a firm edge.

In a bedroom, the purple and red field reads from the foot of the bed, while the frame line stays sharp near the bedside lamp. The soft ground holds the colour without glare.
