A single streak of cadmium red bleeds into a sea of pale cobalt. Untitled (sf-345) is where Francis let the brush run dry. The paper drinks the pigment unevenly, leaving halos of ochre at the edges. Thin washes of white hover like mist, while the red core thickens into a jagged spine. No center, no margin—just the slow spread of color against color. Hang it where morning light can catch those halos, above a narrow console or beside a reading chair.
