Untitled SFE-85

Untitled SFE-85 shows thin colour washes laid over a wide open field. The paint spreads in broad areas and leaves space around the edges. Sam Francis worked with these open pools of colour in his studio practice.

The fine art print arrives ready to hang on the wall. A metal hanger on the back fits onto a nail or screw. You do not need a separate frame.

It hangs in a narrow hallway where the morning light catches the thin edges of the washes. From the far end you see the wide open area, near the door you notice the small changes in the paint.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
