Untitled Sfe081

Untitled Sfe081 opens on a range of soft colour patches set against a wide unpainted field. The painted shapes sit apart from each other, leaving open white space between them. Sam Francis works in thin layers that let the ground stay visible behind the marks.

The picture comes as a fine art print with a frame in white, wood, dark wood or black. The frame gives the picture a clear edge on the wall, so the open areas stay clean and the colour patches do not bleed off the sheet.

It fits on a kitchen wall above the counter, where you stand at the sink and see the broad colour shapes first, then the thin gaps between them as you wait for the kettle.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
