About this work
View Towards the Port of Hammamet 1914 places a harbour scene on the page. Water, boats and buildings rest on a thin ground. The eye moves from the shore toward the water.
Paul Klee builds the scene with measured marks. The fine art print comes set in a frame with a back panel. It arrives assembled when the ready to hang option is used.
The paper stays matte, so the quiet water tones do not catch a lamp. It hangs well on a kitchen wall near the sink. From the table you see the boats, and from the doorway you see the pale shore.
