Vue de Paris 1899 — Fine Art

Vue de Paris 1899 shows a view over rooftops and a wide sky, with brushstrokes laid in quick short layers. The paint sits in small visible patches, and the lines of the buildings come through as simple dark strokes against a lighter ground.

The fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fitted to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. You do not need a separate frame, and the surface stays matte so the small painted patches read without shine.

It suits a wall above a plain wooden desk, hung at eye level in a room with one window. From the chair you see the grouped rooftops first, and from closer up the small brush marks appear one by one.
