Walter Anderson by Walter Anderson, Fine Art — Fine Art

A line of coastal birds walks along a low shore in Walter Anderson. The figures stay small and quiet against a strip of water. Up close, the watercolour washes look soft and open. From across the room the birds read as a single calm rhythm.

This fine art print keeps the watercolour feel on paper with a matte surface. The finish lets the light colours stay flat and the dark birds hold their shape without shine. A light frame works on a dark wall, a dark frame on a pale wall, or a wood frame beside wooden furniture.

It fits a quiet hallway at eye level near a window with soft daylight. You notice the thin legs of the birds and the pale wash of the water first. The wall stays still behind the line of birds.
