The image White shows a single field of white on a plain ground. Ellsworth Kelly made hard edge colour work, and this picture keeps that method with one solid tone reading as a shape. The white field reads calm and open, with no second colour breaking the surface.

This fine art print uses a matte paper surface so the white stays soft and does not shine under a lamp. A light frame on a darker wall helps the white shape hold its own, and a dark frame on a pale wall makes the edge show.
