Windmill in the Gein — Fine Art

Windmill in the Gein shows a Dutch windmill set in a field with trees and sky behind it.

This fine art print is ready to hang on arrival. Piet Mondrian built the scene from broad painted shapes and a restrained ground, following the landscape work he made before his black grids.

The white frame gives the picture a clean edge on the wall and lets the muted greens and browns hold their own without a border colour fighting them. You see the mill and the surrounding land clearly from a kitchen wall near the sink, and the black tree trunks stand out against the open field.
