Winter in Saint-Sauves-dAuvergne

Winter in Saint-Sauves-dAuvergne - 1900 France shows a snow covered village street in the style of French postimpressionist painting.

Bare trees stand along a narrow road, and the sky holds a cool blue grey. Armand Guillaumin painted the scene with broad strokes and strong colour.

The white frame cuts a clean edge around the print, so the blue tones stay sharp against the wall. You can put this fine art print in a study above the desk, where the winter scene catches the lamp light in the evening.
