Yellow from the series Line Form Color

Yellow from the series Line Form Color supports one bright colour shape on a clean ground. The block reads solid, with the white ground holding the weight. Ellsworth Kelly built the work from flat colour planes and clean boundaries, a method tied to post war colour field painting.

The product is a fine art print set in a frame, with a back panel. The paper stays matte so the yellow field does not shine, and the frame keeps the edge firm against the wall.

It fits a quiet wall above a desk, seen from a few steps back. From there the yellow shape reads as one flat plane, and the white ground stays even without reflection.

Information

Frequently asked

Yes — this Fine Art piece comes framed and arrives ready to hang. It is printed with our 12-color fine art technology on smooth matte paper (200 gsm), protected by shatterproof plexiglass, and set in a durable pine wood frame. A hanging kit is included, so you can put it straight on the wall.

Our 12-color fine art printing technology delivers vivid, accurate colors with real depth, far beyond standard 4-color inkjet printing. The print is on smooth matte paper (200 gsm, 0.26 mm thick) that gives a clean, glare-free display, and it sits behind shatterproof plexiglass in a durable pine wood frame (20 mm thick, 10 to 14 mm wide). The paper and wood are FSC-certified. Every piece is printed and shipped on demand, so there is no minimum order and every order is fresh.
