Yorktown Branch — Fine Art

Yorktown Branch shows a single branch with leaves set against a plain ground. Eyvind Earle uses flat colour bands and clean outlines to build the shape. The leaves sit in a tight group and the line work stays sharp. This belongs to the mid century illustration practice and the stylized landscape tradition.

The fine art print comes ready to hang. The frame comes in white, wood, dark wood or black and gives the picture a clear edge on the wall. A white frame keeps the line work crisp against the flat leaves. A dark wood frame sits quietly beside the branch shapes.

It works on a bedroom wall near the bed. From the doorway you see the branch shape first. Up close you notice the leaf outlines and the flat colour bands.
