Frantisek Kupka
Frantisek Kupka was a Czech painter and pioneer of abstract art, creating some of the first purely non-representational works in Europe with vibrant, rhythmic compositions of colour and form inspired by music and cosmology. His groundbreaking Orphism preceded Kandinsky's abstraction.
