Lawren Harris
Lawren Harris was a Canadian painter and founding member of the Group of Seven, celebrated for his austere, mystical landscapes of the Canadian Shield, Lake Superior, and the Arctic rendered in bold, simplified forms and crystalline light. Later in life he turned to pure geometric abstraction influenced by Theosophy.
