Michel Majerus was a Luxembourgish painter who combined painting, digital media, and popular culture in fast, irreverent canvases that absorbed skateboarding culture, video games, and art history into a vibrant, postmodern visual language. His brief but prolific career was cut short by a plane crash at age 35.
