Norman Bluhm
Norman Bluhm was an American Abstract Expressionist painter known for his flamboyant, gestural canvases of sweeping, sensuous paint strokes in jewel-like colours that combine the energy of action painting with an almost baroque decorative opulence. His under-appreciated works are among the most exuberant in the New York School.
