Blue Vertical — Fine Art

Blue Vertical by Sol LeWitt stays with a single vertical mark on a plain ground. The artist worked with systematic drawing and clean geometry, using repeated lines or solid shapes set up by a plan rather than by chance. You see the field, then the one upright band that holds the eye.

This is a fine art print set in a frame with a back panel. The paper keeps the blue flat and even, so the band reads as a clear shape against the ground. It arrives assembled when the ready to hang option is used.

On a bedroom wall the blue band sits low and steady. You notice the even ground first, then the vertical shape as you walk past. The frame stays quiet and the print keeps its simple reading.
