About this work
Development TK Como - 1970 shows broad painted passages in warm and cool tones set across a muted ground. The painted shapes overlap and shift, and the marks seem to move across the surface. Robert Goodnough built his work this way, often using thick paint and drawn lines to keep the picture moving.
This fine art print arrives ready to hang, with a metal hanger fixed to the back that goes straight onto a nail or screw. No separate frame to buy. The paper is matte, so the painted colours stay flat and the surface does not catch a lamp.
It fits a dining room wall away from the table, where the big painted shapes read from the doorway and the small drawn marks show when you stand near the sideboard.
